Meet The Musketeers
By day, they are business leaders but at all times, they are our three caped crusaders committed to supporting the Mansfield and Ashfield areas.
Gary Jordan MBE
Gary began his career as a mechanical engineering apprentice in 1976 at british coal before joining ECS Engineering Services Limited in 2004. In 2008, Gary took over ECS, a role he undertook for 7 years before setting up GMJ Solutions in 2015 to provide business to SMEs. Gary was the Chair of Mansfield and Ashfield 2020, NED & STEM Specialist/Coach at Qinesis and a Vice Chair of Governors at a local secondary academy.
Katie started as an English and Business Studies teacher in 2012 whilst juggling a role at the Mansfield Learning Partnership (MLP). In 2014, Katie started (then completed) a PGDE in Education and Leadership and at 24 became a senior leader at a large secondary school overseeing its business and admin functions. Katie then switched the classroom for the boardroom in March 2019 and set up Grace Consultancy to provide tailored support to local businesses.
Martin Rigley MBE
Martin started as an electrical engineering apprentice at british coal in 1981 before joining the family business, Lindhurst Engineering, in 1994. In 1996, Martin became Managing Director, a role he still undertakes whilst also juggling his time as Chair of Discover Ashfield, Coaching and Mentoring Director at Qinesis, chair of sherwood observatory and as a Governor at multiple educational establishments.
TEAM - Together wE Achieve More
Forget the strap line ‘All for one, one for all’, The Musketeers C.I.C. is all about ‘Together We Achieve More – T.E.A.M’.
Our local area has a number of issues but it is also has a number of great causes trying to tackle those issues.
The Musketeers CIC is an award winning community interest company committed to championing community focused projects linking local businesses to gain wider participation across Mansfield and Ashfield.
It was founded in October 2020 by three local business owners: Gary Jordan MBE, Martin Rigley MBE (MD of Lindhurst Engineering) and Katie Cooper-Lewis (Director of Grace Consultancy Midlands Limited).
The Musketeers met through the Mansfield Learning Partnership in 2012 and the amalgamation of the trio’s skills and the different perspectives each brings combined with their passion for inspiring the next generation and commitment to the local community is what makes them work so well and has seen them be successful on various projects over the last several years; particularly their #PPE4NHS and #WeMakeICTPossible campaigns.
